CHIEF JUSTICE HODGES delivered the Opinion of the Court. We granted certiorari to review Graybar Electric Company v. Watkins Electric Company, 626 P.2d 1157 (1980) in which the court of appeals affirmed a judgment of the trial court against a garnishee, Haselden Langley Constructors (Haselden). We reverse and return to the court of appeals for remand to the trial court for an evidentiary hearing on the garnishee's liability to the judgment debtor.
